Life in boxes

I don't think I have ever seen so much football in such a short time in my life. With a family like mine, I have always watched the Dutch games, but now I have actually seen most games, surprising the people around me by being able to comment on the latest worldcup occurences.

A large explanation for this is Pedro, since as a proper Brazilian he has football running through his veins. Next Friday we face Brazil, but I will not be here to watch the game. Dressed in orange I will be watching this game with Annelotte and Lisianne in the middle of the night in a hostel in Sydney. Time has flown by as I find myself a day before leaving. Wednesday half past three I will lift off into the air towards the other side of this earth.

Nostalgia fills me when I look around my trusty student room. For two years now I have been calling this my home. Now the pictures are taken from the wall and my belongings are put in boxes. The smiley drawn in the dust of the tv has been cleaned, together with all the rest of the dirt labelled 'no time to clean, examweek'.

Weirdly empty, this room is awaiting its new tennant, who will only arrive in two months, when the dust might have already returned.
